Kathmandu – The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is 150.88 rupees, while the selling rate is 151.48 rupees. The Euro’s buying rate is set at 175.10 rupees, with a selling rate of 175.79 rupees. The UK pound sterling has a buying rate of 203.65 rupees and a selling rate of 204.46 rupees, and the Swiss franc is at a buying rate of 186.42 rupees and a selling rate of 187.16 rupees.
For the Australian dollar, the buying rate stands at 108.39 rupees and the selling rate at 108.82 rupees. The Canadian dollar is set at a buying rate of 109.24 rupees and a selling rate of 109.68 rupees, while the Singapore dollar has a buying rate of 118.93 rupees and a selling rate of 119.40 rupees.
The buying rate for every 10 Japanese yen is 9.65 rupees with a selling rate of 9.69 rupees. The Chinese yuan stands at a buying rate of 22.46 rupees and a selling rate of 22.55 rupees. The Saudi Arabian riyal and Qatari riyal are priced with buying rates of 40.18 rupees and 41.39 rupees, respectively, while their selling rates are 40.34 rupees and 41.56 rupees.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht is priced at a buying rate of 4.57 rupees and a selling rate of 4.59 rupees. The UAE dirham stands at a buying rate of 41.08 rupees and a selling rate of 41.24 rupees. The Malaysian ringgit is at a buying rate of 37.33 rupees and a selling rate of 37.48 rupees. For South Korean won, every 100 units are priced at a buying rate of 11.10 rupees and a selling rate of 11.14 rupees. The Swedish krona and Danish krone have buying rates of 15.73 rupees and 23.42 rupees, and selling rates of 15.79 rupees and 23.52 rupees, respectively.
Moreover, the bank has set the exchange rates for Hong Kong dollar at a buying rate of 19.24 rupees and a selling rate of 19.32 rupees, the Kuwaiti dinar at 491.47 rupees buying rate and 493.42 rupees selling rate, the Bahraini dinar at a 400.19 rupees buying rate and 401.78 rupees selling rate, and the Omani rial at a buying rate of 391.89 rupees and a selling rate of 393.45 rupees.
For 100 Indian rupees, the buying rate is fixed at 160 rupees with a selling rate of 160.15 rupees. The central bank notes that these rates can be revised as needed. It also mentioned that exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary and that updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
