Kathmandu – The prices of gold and silver in the local market have declined again today. Gold has decreased by NPR 2,200 per tola and silver by NPR 75 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold today is set at NPR 296,500 per tola, while the same quantity of silver is priced at NPR 4,945.
Yesterday, on Thursday, the price of hallmark gold was NPR 298,700 per tola, and silver was traded at NPR 5,020 for the same quantity. On Wednesday, hallmark gold was priced at NPR 305,000 per tola, and silver was traded at NPR 5,130 per tola.
International media reports indicate that gold is currently being traded at USD 4,705 per ounce in the international market, with silver at USD 76 for the same amount.
